Craft Making Studio
 
Create a craft using materials from and around Puple Adobe Lavender Farm with local artist, Robin Moore.  A diferent craft is scheduled for each Saturday. Please check the schedule. 
 
May  6   - Make two one-size fits-all beaded bracelets.           $20
May 13  - Create a basket woven from lavender stems.          $20
May 20  - String a beaded necklace or eye glass necklace.    $30
May 27  - Craft a medecine pouch and fill with lavender.         $45.

 Tour the Purple Adobe Lavender Farm
with Cheryl Muceus 
 
Tour the Purple Adobe Lavender Farm with Cheryl Muceus, a knowledgeable guide. Learn the history of the lavender farm and many varieties and their uses. Lavender Farm tours begin at the big cottonwood tree just beyond the lavender shoppe and ends at the Lavender Teahouse. Tour $7.00 pp.

Crafts Day

Create a Lavender Beaded Bracelet
 
Have fun working with local artist, Robin Moore, to string lavender crystals, ceramic, stones and other beads to create an expandable "one-size fits all" bracelet.  Wear singly or in groups. No experience necessary for this class.  Each participant gets two braclets but add more for $5 each.  Allow 1 hour for class.   $20 pp.

Make a Lavender Stem Basket
 
Work with Robin Moore to weave a beaded lavender stem basket and decorate it with lavender sprigs. The technique used is similar that used to make pine needle baskets.  No experience necessary.  Class size is limited to 6 participants. $20.00 pp.

Mother's Day at the Lavender Farm 
 
Treat Mom to a relaxing visit at the Purple Adobe Lavender Farm.  Enjoy a special lunch in the Lavender Teahouse. Click here for menu. Tour the organically grown lavender fields and hear the story of the farm. Browse the Lavender Shoppe, create a lavender basket made from the stems of the lavender. Crafting will be held in the Lavender Craft Pavilion. Let us help give your Mother a special day just for celebrating her.

Create a Lavender Beaded Necklace
Using crystal, glass, and stone beads, learn from Robin Moore how to bead a beautiful necklace or eyeglass necklace.  Technique will be taught, and no experience is needed.  Allow 2 hours for this class.  Class size is limited to 6 participants.  Cost is $30.

Create a Traditional Medicine Pouch or Bag 
 
Learn from Robin Moore to make your own traditionally tanned buckskin (deer) medecine pouch with neck strap.  You can also choose to make a pouch that will hold your cell phone, or put on your belt. Both men and women love these. This class is held under the ramada in the middle of the lavender fields. Choose from an assortment of embelshments  No experience is necessary. All supplies included. Allow 2 hours for this class.  Class size is limited to 6 participants. Cost $45.00
